A California Modern home built by Joseph Eichler. The M110 Architecture renovation design features post and beam construction, channel cut Redwood siding, Redwood plywood and cement board siding, natural linseed oil finished tongue and groove solid Redwood roof/ceiling deck and a copper radiant heating system cast in the structural concrete floor slab. Green improvements include super insulated roof and walls, high efficiency hydronic heating with zoned computer controlled zoning, new low E insulated glass, solar powered ventilation and low water use plumbing fixtures. The house features new sustainable bamboo cabinetry and decorative wall panels made of sorghum board. An edible garden and use of low water hardscape material create a landscape that seamlessly extends the interior spaces.
